Without spending a dime – or even a nickel’s worth of energy – you and your company or business can help support this website and the non-profit organization behind it.

How?
We don’t need your money (though that wouldn’t hurt). We don’t even need your time. We just need your obsolete cell phones, and those of your customers and co-workers. Simply call:

Better yet, set up a central drop-box in your establishment for employees’ and/or customers’ used cell phones (we’ll even supply the drop box and sign). If you send 100 or more at a time, the Wireless Foundation--a non-profit organization that re-programs used cell phones and distributes them to victims of domestic violence will pay for the shipping. And if you donate them in our name, the Wireless Foundation will actually pay the Stalking Survivors’ Sanctuary & Solutions organization for the phones, since we’re a non-profit.

By sending us – or helping us to collect – old, useless cell phones, you will be helping to:

• Fund our efforts to foster healthy relationships, prevent stalking and its predecessor domestic violence, and enable victims cope with their life-destroying situation.
  
  
• Provide battered women with a free way to call from help wherever they are.
  

And your organization or your company employees will reap the benefit of a tax-deductible donation.

As part of this campaign, press releases will be sent to the local and national press heralding the involvement of those businesses that choose to participate. We will also be happy to supply you with a press release to be used as an employee handout or copy for an employee newsletter or mass email, as well as information on how to proceed from here if you want to get involved.
