I cant tell you how much your site helped me. Im 18 and i've been stalked by the same man since i was 16. I fully support this site. It gave me tips on what to do and how to do it. It also gave me hope, knowing that other people have gone through the same thing. Thank you so much!

I found the information at this site very helpful. My 15 yr old daughter has been stalked by a 16 yr old boy in her school. She can't eat in the lunch room, has to enter through a back door, and he is constantly driving by our house. He has followed her home and when he knew she was home alone, pounded on the door-forcing her to call 9-1-1. We have ignored him, hoping he would simply "go away". Your tips will be very helpful and give us as parents something to do, so we don't feel useless in protecting our daughter. Thank You

I wish I would have found this site as I was going through this situation. There is a lot of information that I would have found very helpful. I am from a town that is not familiar with stalking and they did not have much information for me.

I just found your website today. I broke down crying while reading it because I've finally found people who understand what I'm going through. I have a unique situation--I am being stalked by a female neighbor (I am also female). It is not a "love" relationship, it is a jealous obsession. Just imagine that your stalker lives right across the street from you. That is the nightmare I am dealing with. We are trying to move and have had our house for sale for a year now. Anyway, no one understands who hasn't been through this. God bless all of you who know.

i just found the website. i've been stalked, harassed, terrorized, etc... since feb 2003. although i tried to use my personal website at www.tery.com, friends, family, and law enforcements to help me cope with my ordeal, i haven't been too successful at finding support or guidance. thanks very much for building this community - i thought it was just me

It is a great relief to discover a "support system" on the web. Why didn't I do it sooner? I've suffered for years with this horrible problem while at the same time trying to have a happy life with my daughter. I am determined to not let my stalkers force us out of the home God has blessed us with. When will justice take place? I have waited so patiently!

I found your site to be very informative, I of late have had to endure my neighbor whistling at me! Or staring out his window in my direction, calling out to me if I'm going for a walk and though to many people that I have talked to those little comments, the stares, the calling out seem to be without malicousness but none the less I am fearful as he is just right next door. I do take alternative or different routes each time I go out in order to avoid him and I've made no eye contact or approached him in any manner or fashion. I do have two dogs and a fenced in yard which I hear is a neccessity. I am starting to get run down however and even though he hasn't made any threatening comments or gestures towards me I still don't appreciate the attention and would very much like to wish the situation away but, anyway I at first hesitated in asking for support for myself but now that I read my letter through I would very much like for someone who has been through what I am going through to contact me with any further advice or tips on how to manage this unwanted situation. i have a very good friend who is being stalked, has been for a year now. i have been searching for ways to help her and came apon this sight. she only told me about it yesterday; after reading this ,i am recomending she contact you. right now she is frozen in fear, feals there is no hope. thank you for being there for people like her, for i feel her life is in great danger at this point.

I am a Criminal Justice student at the University of Central Florida and I came across your site while doing a paper on the subject of stalking. After looking at many sites on this topic I found this one to be the most informative. I think it is great that you have a discussion board for people to discuss their situations with others. I am the lead stalking detective with a unit called DVERT (Domestic Violence Enhanced Response Team) locating in Colorado Springs. We focus primarily on the most severe DV cases with an emphasis on DV Stalking. We conduct all of the traing for law enforcement, advocacy, prosecution and child protection concerning stalking behavior. I have enjoyed reading through this site and have obtained valuable statistical information. I was curious as to where the research had been done in reference to the 1500 women that were stalked before being murdered. Great site!

Hello everybody . I��e been accused in stalking once. Everybody talks about victims of stalking but nobody about of victims of false victim syndrome. There is no statistics and no defense against women who just need a bit of attention and become possessed by they own fear. Keep it up America in one or two generations men will be jailed for asking out !
